Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

These unusual smells could be related to epilepsy seizures. For this reason, I recommend consulting with a neurologist for a physical exam, an EEG and a brain MRI. It is also important to frequently check glucose levels, because high glucose levels can trigger these episodes. You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
