What Does Urethral Discomfort After Child Birth Indicate?

Hi. I was pregnant and gave birth about a month ago. 2 weeks after delivery I started noticing discomfort around the urethra. The clitorus region. And I thought it could be UTI, although I didn t have any other symptoms. So I waited a week and a half. But it didn t go away. So I asked my GP, was given antibiotics and I gave a urine sample that came out clear. But the discomfort is still there and during this time I ve noticed that the clitorus has shrunk or gone in. What s going on and how can I fix it

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hi,

You should get your examination done by a gynecologist. Maybe it is a localized inflammation which is causing this.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
