What Does Urine Analysis Done During Pregnancy Mean ?

Hi Doctor,
I am 31 weeks pregnant. On recent urine analysis it showed following :
Albumin > Trace
R.B.C > Nil/hpf
Leucocytes/Pus cells > Plenty/hpf
Epithelial cells > 12-15/hpf
Bacteria > Present
What are the implications on the foetus growth or what does these results mean > And if its urinary infection how do I cure it via following any particular diet?

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Your urine test results shows that there is urinary tract infection. The results should be correlated with clinical findings. If you don't treat urinary infection it can leads even to a preterm labour or infection to your genital tract. For my patient I usually treat such conditions with antibiotics like amoxicillin plus clavulanic acid which is considerably safe in pregnancy who don't have penicillin allergy. Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.
