What Does Vaginal Bleeding After A Total Hysterectomy Indicate?
February 2 years I had a total hysterectomy for uterine cancer which was stage2 with no lymph nodes involved. I am in good health, no bro lens with the surgery, have seen Dr. Every 6 months, had last pap mat 2016 which was normal as was the exam. Today I have bright red blood, not heavy. I am very concerned and scared. I have been under a lot of stress for the last 2 months. Could that possible cause bleeding? Linda
Usually stress is not responsible for the vaginal bleeding in most of the cases and it is the vaginal stump infection which is responsible for the same when the cancer recurrence is ruled out thoroughly. Kindly get a swab test done for culture reports from the vagina and discuss the report with your doc or online through this platform for further guidelines.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
