General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,my name is dr.Dorina Gurabardhi.I understand your concern.
Some spotting is normal very early in pregnancy.
Bleeding in the 1st trimester is not always a problem. It may be caused by:
-Having sex
-An infection
-The fertilized egg implanting in the uterus
-Hormone changes
Still, it is a good idea to tell your doctor about it and to do an ultrasound.
Hope my answer was helpful. If you have any other question Ill be glad to help.
Regards,
