What Does Vaginal Bleeding During Pregnancy Indicate?

Hi,Im concerned as to why im bleeding during first trimester of pregnancy. I found out last monday that i was pregnant and was fine till today i started to bleed and it kept getting worse. I get cramps like im having my period but its not a normal period blood. Im scared that im having a miscarriage. The cramps keep getting worse as well. I haven t been to see how many weeks i am as of yet. Should i still go find out.

Hello,

Yes, I am sorry to say that it may be miscarriage as bleeding is a bad sign.

Get ultrasound abdomen done to know the status of pregnancy. Go to emergency as soon as possible.

You may take any antispasmodic as Mafenemic acid or Drotoverine for painful spasms but avoid painkillers as Diclofenic or Ibuprofen, etcetera.
