What Does Vaginal Discharge With Odor Imply?

I am a 19 year old girl.... I have been quite sore down below, and get so sore i cant have sexual intercourse with my boyfriend. I try to but end up crying and frustrated because i cant go through with it, so irritated its been like it for a while and i dont want my boyfriend to go off me. I am too embarassed to see a doctor about it and just wanted to know if theres anything you can suggest. Today i have had like discharge or something from my vagina, with a slight smell to it. Please help. Im embarassed putting something on here let alone seeing a doctor please help!!!!!
