What Does Vaginal Spotting While On Birth Control Pills Indicate?

Yesterday I got off my period...but it only lasted 2-3 days.(When usually it lasts 7) I just started my active birth control pills last night. And I woke up this morning &had light pink when whippedt.And it got darker purplesish. What could this mean???

Hi, I think it can be postmenstrual spotting. It can happen occasionally, but if it happens again, consult a gynaecologist for proper examination. It can be due to some cervical pathology or infections. Hope it helps.
