What Does Ventricular Choroid Plexus Cyst On Pregnancy Scan Suggest?

hi, i just got my results back on my 18 week ultrasound, there were no anatomical abnormalities are identified at this time. This includes the fetal intracranial structures, face, and spine. No abnormalities were identified in the chest, including four chambered heart and outflow tracts, or the abdomen, including stomach, bowel, renal regions, urinary bladder, and three vessel umbilical cord and fetal insertion site. The four extremities were evaluated with no abnormal findings. There is an 8mm right lateral ventricular choroid plexus cyst. Should i worry? I am having a baby girl and im scared.

SOLITARY CHOROID PLEXUS CYST WITH NO OTHER FEATURES IS LESS LIKELY TO POSE PROBLEM. IT CAN BE PRESENT IN 2-10 % PREGNANCIES. YOU NEED TO FOLLOWUP WITH IT BY A REPEAT SCAN AFTER 4 WEEKS.
