My son is 17 and he has a vision disturbance in the left eye. This has gone unnoticed as he had one good eye the right one. The left eye can see the chart and read the first three lines but few letters in the last line cannot be perceived by him. He also
sometimes has blurry vision in the left eye.

refraction should be done. your son has already have amblyopic left eye or what you mean lazy eye. hehas lost binocularity. if left eye is deviated then it is to avoid diplopia since his right eye is dominant eye. for left eye cosmatic surgery can be done.
