Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am an active 44 yr female. I have experienced a warm sensation in the upper left leg several times in the past week. I am on a ski trip. We have been very active. Not dehydration.... Green smoothies, water, no pop, no caffeine, one alcohol per day. Your thoughts?
Alcohol can caude warmth, but the amount you have been consuming is too less to cause this. Are you seated for a long duration of time? If so then this is possibly the reason for your presentation.
If you are on any medications this is possibly. If at all your physical activity level is high, then this could just be your muscles burning up.
Best wishes.
