What Does Yellow Discoloration In The Eyes Indicate?

My wife who is 58years old started to vomit yesterday and today the sclera of her eyes are yellow ,she is tired and unable to eat or drink any liquids w/o vomiting. She had her gallbladder removed 20 years prior and she is a breast cancer survivor now 5 years.She does not smoke or drink alcohol. Please provide some insight she would like to wait to see her primary tomorrow instead of going to the ER now.
