Hello Dear. Combiflam Syrup is composed of the following salts:
Ibuprofen & Paracetamol
Paracetamol (PCT) dose is 10-15 mg/kg body weight/ dose and Ibuprofen 4-10 mg/kg body weight

Moxikind CV contains Amoxclav which needs to be given- 20 to 40 mg/kg body weight

So your child is roughly 8 kgs. Combiflam syrup comes in doses of 125 mg/5ml (PCT) or 165 mg/ml or 250 mg/5ml. Hence your doctor has asked to give 3.5ml 6th hourly
And Moxikind contains 2.79g/30ml or 46mg /5ml. Hence 4ml per dose twice daily.

You may find this as complex mathematics. But easy if you understand the logic. One simple thing i suggest you. Trust your doctor when he gives you something.

Your doctor has given the correct dosing. Dont worry.

Hope i have answered your question. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions. I ll be glad to help you.
All the best
With warm regards
Dr Sanjay Kini
