Yes -- I am prescribing for a non-verbal, non-ambulatory patient with profound ID and osteoporosis.

She now has a J-tube for nutritiion. I would like to use ergocalciferol solution but the only strength that I can find is 8000 units/ml. What is dose of the liquid for patient at high risk for pathologic fracture? She will also continue to get supplemental calcium. I am new at this facility and have to check her history re
