What Dosage Of Primolut Should Be Taken To Postpone The Periods?
I want to delay my menstrual cycle which is due in three days time.I want to defer it by 10 days. I have uterine fibroid and am on eltroxin 1mcg for my thyroid problem. Can I use primolut 10? For how long should I take it? What will be the dosage? When will my cycle begin?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Postponement of periods is possible by use of medications such as Primolut N. You need to take it 3 times a day 2 to 3 days before your periods start. You can continue to take it for next 3 to 5 days. Upon stopping its intake, you could expect withdrawal bleeding to happen between 5 to 7 days. You can take this medication occasionally as regular intake could lead to menstrual abnormalities. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
