What Dosage Of Rabies Immunoglobulin Is Advisable For Stray Dog S Bite?
I got bitten by a dog on June 15. it s on my right shin. it s like a scratch but it did bleed. the dog cannot be traced since it was a stray, I got my 1st VERORAB shot on the 18, the 2nd on the 21st, and the 3rd today on the 23rd. i feel fine so far, no fever or tingling sensation near the wound site. What i wanna ask is do I still need to take the rabies immunoglobulin?

WHO guidelines for Intramuscular schedules of Anti-rabies Vaccine:
One dose should be administered on days 0, 3, 7, 14 and 30. All intramuscular injections must be given into the deltoid region (Upper part of hand)
Vaccine should never be administered in the gluteal region (Buttocks).
You have completed 4 doses. 5th dose on day 30 needs to be taken.
