Hi,

Dietary modification in the form of cutting down oily, fatty and spicy food items will lower the discomfort as fatty foods remain in the stomach for longer and are more likely to cause reflux. Avoid lying down for at least two hours after meals. Ensure that dinner is a light meal taken at least two hours before bedtime. Rather than taking two or three large meals, try taking frequent small meals. If possible, take some exercise regularly. A brisk walk for just twenty to thirty minutes every day will make a big difference.

Best wishes.
