What Exactly Happens In Heart Attack?

If so, what does it feel like? On a scale from 1-10, how much does it hurt and does it last for long? Just wondering.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Cardiac pain is a deep pain behind your sternum, patients usully express with there closed fists over sternum.

It shoots along the left arm or neck associated with vomiting, increased hear rate.

Pain is very subjective and vary from patient to patient, they may rate it between 6-9.But painless heart attacks cannot be ruled out.
