What Follow-up Test Should I Take When Pap Smear Results Show HPV DNA High-risk?

Hi, I just got my Pap Smear results in the mail and it says HPV DNA (High Risk) was detected. They say on the paper to come back for another test in a year. Do I need to take any other precautions or do any other tests? I’m very nervous and this was my first Pap Smear.
