I see different types of food to be avoided for Hyperthyroidism. In the net, few people say, its good to eat Spinach, Cauliflower, Cabbage, Broccoli, almonds, garlic , strawberries for regulating Hyperthyroidism and few people say the reverse that we should not eat the same.
Can some one please confirm what kind of food needs to be avoided for hyperthyroidism.
As such there is no diet that help to prevent hyperthyroidism. It should be controlled by medicine. But some food high in vitamin b12 and iron should be taken. Brocoli, yogart, green leafy vegetables, whole grain should be taken.
Drugs like propylethiouracil & methimazole are useful. Consult your doctor and start treatment accordingly.
