What Food Supplements Can Be Given To An Infant?

Hi my baby completed 5 months .As my breast milk is not sufficient am using nan 1 formula too.Should I shift to nan 2 as he started 6 .what other home made food supplements can be given to my baby other than artificial foods.whether it s good to introduce cerelac to him

Yes you can change to nan 2 formula as he is 6 months old now. Home made recipes can include rice porridge, smashed dal and vegetables like carrots, potatos, fruits like banana, papaya. I would suggest you to start with small quantities and look for symptoms of indigestion or allergies like rashes, vomiting and loose stools. Avoid foods that tend to cause allergies like honey, egg, groundnuts. Yes you can use cerelac according to the stages.
