Good morning. I read an article that excess estrogen can result from over-processed foods and the environment. I understand that this can be proactively countered by eating various foods, like walnuts and cruciferous veggies. What other foods are helpful?

Hello,

Estrogen is the main female sex hormone that plays an important role in menstrual cycle and reproductive system.

Having excess estrogen can affect males and females differently and may cause a variety of symptoms.

To answer your question: I can say that a proper diet and can help to stabilize your hormone imbalance.

Eating certain foods may reduce the body's levels of estrogen.

Apart cruciferous vegetables(as you said), such as broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, and kale, other helpful foods are mushrooms; red grapes; flaxseeds.

If you are overweight, losing weight can be helpful to decrease the estrogen level.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
