What Further Can Be Done For TB Treatment?

hello i am deepika,my age is 22 and my height is 5.2 , my weight is65 now. i am having tb since from 16 months back(there is fluid inside my right side of chest). around 2ltr fluid taken out through tapping, i am under medicine but also still there is fluid inside, so what should i do further.

16 months is too longer course for TB and that for effusion. And your weight is 65 kg so you need increased dose in each TB drug. So better talk with your doctor for correct dosing of TB drugs. Low dose for weight cause incomplete treatment and chances of drug resistant TB is high. You can also go for CT scan thorax to rule out other causes of pleural effusion.
