What Happens If The Spinal Rods And Screws Are Removed?

Hi, i am 31 yrs old.2 years back i was injured in a road accident. My spinal cord was injured at D12 (Traumatic Wedge compression fracture(D12). screws were fixed along with rods. There is no sensory to the lower part of the body. There is no control on bowel and bladder also. What happens if the rods fixed for the spine is removed ..pl advise
