What Happens In Stage Four Cervical Cancer?

Hi, my aunt was diagnosed a couple weeks ago with stage four cervical cancer. The doctor said surgery was not an option due to the fact that it has already reached all the walls of the vagina (i think thats what i was told) and the bladder. The tumor is so big that she has to wear a bag to urinate and take laxatives for the emptying of the intestine. She started her 1st radiation tommorrow which she will have to do every day for six weeks and tomorrow is her 1st chemo treatment which she will be receiving the lowest dose once a week for six weeks. Can you please tell me what to expect so I can be prepared.

welcome to Health care magic.
1.Prognosis is poor for sure with stage 4 with multiple complications.
2.What one can expect it this time is less survival.
3.How ever one can't judge, patients with good immunity do survive for quite a good amount of time.
4.So stop thinking of all - ant try keep the patient happy.
5.Hope it helps.
Anything to ask ? do not hesitate. Thank you.
