What Happens When The Active Pills Are Taken Instead Of Placebo Pills?

Hi I'm on birth control and this week sunday was supposed to be my 4th week starting the placebo pills. On Sunday, monday and tuesday I haven't been paying attention and accidentally started a new pack, taking the active pills. I took 3 active pills in all instead of the placebo pills that are supposed to start my period. Am i still considered "protected?"

Hello,
Yes definitely you are protected.
There is no harm which has occurred to you because of your taking active pills instead of placebo pills.
If you stop taking them now,you will have withdrawal bleeding as usual but only 3 days late.
In fact this is the method employed to postpone your periods.
Thanks
