ENT Specialist 's  Response
in my opinion this is muscular twitching or cramps you are experiencing. do you have similar episode elsewhere in you body muscles? do you have some neurological problem in past? or any Brain related illness? at this moment I would recommend you to avoid using any throat irritants like smoking, as they may cause muscle to spasm. and I would prescribe muscle relaxants eg. chlorzoxazone. but if problem gets severe, you should visit any neurophysician nearby.
