What Has Caused A Large Bump On My Chin?

I have a large bump on my chin, its under the skin but above the jaw line bone. at first I thought it was a zit, but it kept getting bigger. Its not big enough to see when looking at me. it s not painful as a matter of fact, it has no feeling at all. do you have any suggestions as to what it might be?? Thanks

Hello,
Thanks for the query.
There are two possibilities.
1.You might have developed furuncles.
These are deep bacterial infections.
Treatment is with antibiotics but the choice of antibiotics should be based on culture and sensitivity tests.
2.It can be a tumor of the bone.
Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
Let me know if you have any other doubt.
