What Is A Growing, Painful Lump In Armpit Suggestive Of?

I have had a lump in my armpit for a few month and never thought nothing because it was qwite small I guess I forgot about it until the last few days its got progressively bigger its really big and painful and it s never went away just growing in size???

Noted your concern.

You need detailed physical examination.
There may be possibility of lymphadenitis or subcutaneous infection.
Which can be easily identified by clinical examination.

Depending upon it there may be need for further evaluation like
- Complete Blood Test.
- ESR.
- Chest X-ray.

Antibiotics like amoxicillin with clavulunic acid may be suggested.
