What Is A Large Bump On My Head With Migraines?

Hello. I hit my head on the marble counter where our ilsand bar is. I did not loose consciousness but I have a large bump on my head and cant seem to shake these awful migraines and feeling of nausea. Should I go in to see a doctor? I am very tired also

Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms and it seems that you have developed a scalp hematoma (collection of blood underneath the skin over head). This is responsible for your headaches and nausea.

You would benefit from symptomatic treatment with ibuprofen tablets (for headache) and ondansetron tablets (for nausea).

If symptoms persist, it may be better to get a CT scan of brain done and consult a neurologist.
