What Is A Purple Rectangular Rash On The Left Side Of The Throat Suggestive Of?
someone I know has developed a purple rectangular rash outside the throat, on their left side. It appeared suddenly, they said. They just went to get some fast food and noticed it. There is no itching, burning or irritation at all. It s just a rectangular purple mark, about 1/2 high and an inch or so long. Any ideas what it is?

Hi, it is probably an allergic reaction. The person can wait and watch or take an anti allergic tablet. Another possibility is fungal infection--a locla cream with steroid plus anti fungal agent should help---regards
