What Is A Safe Dose Of Ibuprofen For A Child?

5 year old child has runny nose and cough for 3-4 days, started being feverish (103.5) late afternoon. Gave her ibuprofen 1 1/2 tsp. at 5:00 p.m. Fever went down to 100.5 but now after sleeping she is awake and fever at 104. Is it too early for another dose of ibuprofen?
