What Is A Slight Burning Sensation In Lungs Suggestive Of?
I have a slight burning sensation in my lungs. It is not constant but usually occurs after I have been at rest for a period of time. It feels similar to the sensation I would get after smoking a lot for several hours. I quit smoking more than a decade ago and this "new sensation" did not start until about a year or two ago. Obviously it is not debilitating but I am beginning to wonder if it is something I should be concerned with. I am in good health otherwise (normal weight, BP, cholesterol, no known allergies, etc.). 57yo female
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if this is the burning of chest symptoms then it may not be due to any lung disease but it seems to be more looks like hyperacidity and it need to be first treated with Tab Omeprazole 40 mg once in day, and it is advisable to get done the x-ray chest hope this information helps.
