What Is An Alternative Of Toradol For The Treatment Of Migraine?

what can be used in place of toradol as an adjunct for severe migraine ? Imitrex and or percocet or codeine has already been tried. yet when they don t work after 2-3 days, a Drs visit usually gives Torodol IM. When this occurs on a Thursday, By Saturday no Dr is available and ER visits are too expensive.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

First of all, it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.

Based on the history you have shared, you need more potent analgesics like Tramadol or Gabapentin and at times NSAIDs especially Naproxen has been shown to be superior to others in the management of a migraine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
