What Is An Itchy And Scaly Patch On The Scrotum Suggestive Of?
I have a scaly patch on my scrotum; it;s been there now at least 4 months that I noticed. I can t get rid of it. When it get s wet, it itches; when real dry it s not; looks like small scalps form but when I shower or bath they get wet and never heal. What is going on?

A photo of the itchy patch is needed for a more specific answer.
There are 2 main reasons to investigate:
1. psoriasis
2. fungal rash.
Should run skin scrapping examination and skin biopsy to determine the right diagnosis.
For the moment I advise you to apply betamethasone combination with neomycin and Nystatin ointment. Keep dry by using antifungal powder.
