What Is Anterior Parafalcine Meningioma?

Hello I have just been told my mother is in hospital with a 0.6 x 1.4 x 1.1cm Anterior Parafalcine Meningioma and right now I have no idea what this actually means.
I am in Dubai and my Mother is in a hospital in Sydney; my father seems to be playing it down saying it is a swollen blood vessel.

I would appreciate it if someone could provide some further information (i.e could my dad be correct or is he just 'playing it down') on this.
