What Is Causing Fever For Long Time?

I have been having fever for past 5 days. After 2 days doctor ordered a blood test and it came out normal
He started giving me antibiotics for 3 days called amic acid(that is what he said) fever has not yet subsided. So he says we have give a stronger dose of antibiotic. What do you think

Hi,
It seems that you might be having some infection in your body.
There might be possibility of having typhoid or urinary tract infection.
As previous blood test might be normal but now going for blood test again might give some clue about your fever.
Go for,
Complete blood test with ESr, S.Widal test, Platelet count.
Urine routine and microscopic test.
If require go for x-ray chest.
After all reports your doctor might get some clue about your problem and will go for treatment accordingly.
Meanwhile take light diet and plenty of water.
Ok and take care.
