What Is Causing Green Color Of My Menstrual Bleeding?

I am on the 4th day of my menstrual cycle and today I had a very heavy bleeding day it has been bright red all day but when i just went to the rest room i had dried green blood on my pad and on the toilet paper when i wiped. I have PCOS and I have never been regular should I be worried about the green color?
