What Is Causing My Acidity, Chest Ache And Lower Abdominal Pain?

I am suffering from PCOD. My doctor suggested me glycomet -1gm and folic acid, once in a day for 3 months. Its been a month since I started taking these tablets. Now I m having acidity, dullness, chest ache and lower abdominal pain. Should I continue with the tablets? Is it safe? Will it help me to conceive?Also, last month I got my periods on 21st after taking Primolut -N tablet. This month I did not my periods till date. Kindly suggest.

Hi, if your periods have got delayed, do a urine pregnancy test at home. If positive, consult a doctor. If negative wait for your periods. These can be the side effects of glycomet. It can lead to acidity, abdominal pain and chest pain too. Take some antacids. Also, try to take glycomet at night. No need to stop the medicines. Hope I have answered your question.
