What Is Causing My Fever, Sore Throat And Headache?

I have not felt well for about a month. Went to the doctors last week and they told me it was probably a virus and to let it run its course. I have had fevers off and on, soar neck, headaches, fatigue, and pain and blood in my left ear which the doc said was due to blisters. Through out all of this I have also experienced some swelling on the roof of my mouth towards the back of my throat. It is about the size of a quarter. I was not experiencing it at the time of my appointment and was wondering what it could be.

Thanks for posting your query to Healthcaremagic .

It seems like it's not a viral infection and needs certain test to see what it is . If it was viral it may have not caused problems to this extent and this long . I am suspecting a bacterial infection of your throat .

I advise you to get Throat Swab Culture sensitivity test and revert back with report . It would be nice if you start on an antibiotic preferably Azithromycin . Kindly consult your doctor for the prescription of the same .

Also do salt water gargling 3-4 times a day , avoid spicy and non veg food and avoid citrus fruits.
