What Is Causing The Pain In My Knuckles After Hitting Boxing Bag?

about 2 weeks ago i was using my boxing bag and when i hit it i got a sudden excruciating pain in my knuckle i didn't think anything of it because the pain went away after a while but now i cant put any pressure on my knuckle but there hasn't been any swelling or anything the pain is really bad
