What Is Causing The Upper Abdominal Pain After Eating?
Hi there.I have been suffering upper abdo pain usually after eating for a few years now and recently my bloods came back with a lipase reading of 105 and also my triglycerides are rather high...I have lost 25 pounds unintentionally in the past year.I vomit almost on a daily basis and never have energy.I am presently being followed by someone but they are not really close to figuring anything out and want me to wait a few months.I live with pain 90% of the day and can not much so waiting isnt much of any option..any ideas?
Hi. Weight loss with persistent pain in the upper abdomen and vomiting on daily basis has to be investigated by the following ::: Upper GI Endoscopy to rule out Stomach Cancer. CT scan of the whole abdomen CT scan of the Brain to rule out Central cause of Persistent vomiting. Relevant blood- CBC, Liver function, Lipase , Amylase, Triglycerides and urine , stool and other investigations . All these investigations will lead to a cause so that the treatment can be guided well.
