What Is Degenerative Disc Disease?

hi, i have just found i had an accute annular tear at the L4/L5 level and a smaller tear down at L5/S1 and also have 3 level degeneracy of the lumbar spine, i am only 35 and was told i am very young to be having the disc degenaration so am i likely to suffer long term back problems as a result of my diagnosis? thank you
