What Is Going With My Periods After Implant Implanon?
Hi, I have been on the implant implanon for 26 months. Last month I didnt have a period, I had cramping lightly in my back. I waited for a period but only had a brown discharge for a little under two weeks. Now this month nothing, no period. Up until last month, my periods have always been pretty regular on implanon. I feel pregnant, I have two young daughters, so I know what signs to look for. Is it common after 2 years on implanon to suddenly develop new symptoms and discontinue a menstrual cycle? I have also taken pregnancy tests and they have come back negative. Could I be pregnant? And if not, what could be going on?
I think I that I would suggest you to repeat a pregnancy test after two weeks to confirm pregnancy. Although pregnancy is a rare chance, but these symptoms of your can be due to hormonal irregularities so I will suggest you to do a thyroid profile test and prolactin test done.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
