What Is He Remedy For The Chills, Severe Sore Throat, Fever And Body Aches?
On Sunday night i went to the ER after experiencing chills, a severe sore throat, fever and body aches. They gave me an IV and pain medicine, took an x-ray of my neck and did some blood work, and I showed no signs of an infection. I was told that if my aches continued, then I should see my regular doctor later on that day, so I did. My regular doctor gave me a shot of steroids, said i can use ibuprofen 600 mg, and amoxicilin. However, it is now Wed. night and i still have a sore throat. Should i wait before going back to my doctor? or should i go first thing tomorrow morning. All other symptoms are gone, I only now have a sore throat and imflamed lymphnoids,

Hi,
You might be having acute upper respiratory tract infection.
Continue with amoxicilin and if there is no improvement then you may take Azzithromicin medicine for 5days.
Do antiseptic gargles.
Avoid cold drinks and junk food.
Ok and take care.
