General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe, your fathers condition is safe, but there is every possibility of ischemia, means the precursor of the heart attack.
It is always preventible, and and must be under treatment to prevent the ischemia.
I advise you to consult a cardiologist for diagnosis and treatment. you may need to have E.C.G, echo cardiogram, and angiogram, lipid profile for diagnosis.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
