Hi,

Junior Lanzol contains lansoprazole in pediatric dose. It is given to reduce the acid production in the stomach. It was probably prescribed as both Calpol and Augmenting can cause acidity. Your doctor has not asked for stool tests as green stools are considered to be normal. It may be due to the presence of green leafy vegetables, green food coloring, iron supplements etc in the diet. It may also be due to rapid movement of food through the large intestine so that bile pigments are not broken down completely.

Best wishes.
