What Is Left Occipital Calcified Granuloma And The Treatment For The Same?

hi my uncle did ct scan .in than they gave impression as left occipital calcified granuloma .wt is it?i don know anything abt this..can u explain wt is dis n wt treatment should he taken to cure it?

A calcified granuloma in the brain may be due to an old tuberculous focus or a neurocysticercosis which is healed and calcified. Some times it may cause symptoms like seizures(Epileptic Fits) or headache or it may just lie there without causing any symptoms and discovered accidently during CT Scan for some other reason. If your uncle has no symptoms, just leave it alone. You may also consult a Neurologist.

DEAR FRIEND,

CALCIFIED GRANULOMAS ARE VERY LESS LIKELY A CAUSE OF OF ANY PROBLEM IT MAY BE DUE TO HEALED NCC OR TBERCULOMA DONT WORRY
