What Is Life Expectancy For Lung Cancer Patient Not Being Able To Walk?

My mum has lung cancer and has bone mets in legs,arms,pelvis,ribs spine and skull she has gone from walking on a frame to not able to in 48 hours.The family is rallying around as she is at home.She now ha swollen feet,is she in the last stages?Also she gets words and the families names mixed up this has happened over four weeks,but the deteriation is fast,has she weeks or das to live? Hi

Your mum is suffering from stage 4 lung cancer.
Aim of treatment is basic supportive care to improve quality of life at this stage.
You may need to arrange for oxygen cyclinder in home in case she has acute respiratory distress and for swollen feet u can give her tab lasilactone 50 mg once daily after food for 5 days.
On an average she may survive for 3 to 6 months.
