Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

Mucosal thickening in paranasal sinuses is a benign condition due to allergic inflammation of the inner lining of the spaces adjacent to the nose. This can cause stuffy nose and mild headaches. The other finding regarding low lying cerebellar tonsils is also a benign condition and needs to be correlated with your neurological clinical examination. At your age this finding may be insignificant but its important to know why you got scanned.
